WHY?
I think the big WHY is to show the power Jesus has in our lives. His power over the winds/waves, over Satan, over incurable disease, and even over death!
I think the gospel writer wrote this under Holy Spirit inspiration to encourage the readers that whatever they face, Jesus is more powerful.
