Meditations: Days 3 & 4
Why:
I think the why, or the purpose of this passage is pretty clear. Humility. It is important to note that the author gives some idea of the source for this humility.
The encouragement we have from unity with Christ
The comfort we have from his love
The fellowship we have with his Spirit
The tenderness and compassion formed as a result
Then you are in a position...

If you are like me you might be getting weary of all the things we need to be applying to our lives after all that we have read. I can only work on about three things at a time with out falling apart on others . Keep plugging away at it and be encouraged that God is in this with us. — Andy Peterson

Prayer: Day 5
Write your heart to God as a result of this scripture:
God,
Thank you for who you are. You are our father, close and loving, who wants to answer our prayers and you are God big and in heaven, large enough to answer our prayers. I give honor and glory to your name.
I ask that you establish your kingdom. God, let your will be done. Specifically your will that every person be reconciled to you. From the beginning to the end of the Book your purpose has always been to reconcile man to your self. You just...

Andy here, hope you are having a great Easter season, full of awesome insight into God and his word. Here are my thoughts on this weeks reading.
Meditations: Days 3 & 4
Why:
I think there are three primary reasons for this passage:
That we recognize the power of Christs substitution for us on the cross.
power to make us new
power to make us righteous
That we acknowledge that power at work in the lives of others
That we tell people about it.
What Major Themes are emerging:
I see several major themes that could each be independent studies in them selves. But I will list a brief...

Hey All,
I hope you are doing great this week. I am sure things are getting tough. This is a lot of study each week. Great job for sticking with it. It is worth it. This weeks reading is over 2 Corinthians 5: 14-21. I hope you have already begun to see some powerful things emerging. You should be beginning the Meditation today. I pray God opens your eyes and heart to see and hear him as you meditate on his word.
Becoming New,
Andy Peterson
